I was reading my old posts back from when I first started blogging with this URL back in November 2005. I was amazed to see how much I had transformed, how much I had grown, how much I had changed these past few years. Even my style of writing has matured in ways I had not known! Of course, this means I use fewer analogies and flowery sentences to convey my messages across..
I'm amazed at how much laughter I've shared with my closest and dearest friends, and even more so with the sea of tears I've cried because of broken dreams, hopes, and mostly of a broken heart. I had lost so much, yet gained much more over the past few years! And thinking back, I don't think I would have gotten this far if it weren't for the endless support and constant motivation from my very supportive and loving family, and my wonderful and understanding group of friends whom I share a strong bond with..
I wouldn't say I had that good a start this 2008 and I wouldn't say this half a year had been smooth sailing for me, but I've a lot to be grateful for because I have people I can turn to, and memories as my lifelong companion.. And these memories I refresh as I click through the archives of my life written in my blog - the good ones that make life so much more meaningful, the bad ones that I thank helped make me a stronger individual!
In exactly 7 days from now, I will step into yet another year of my existence here on earth. And I thank God for having guide me through my 23 years of life, and my loved ones for always being there to cushion my every fall. It's been a wonderful though confusingly rough journey and I'm proud to say I've made it so far and there's no stopping me from going further just yet!
I had this lil' flashback of when I was in Form 3...
Our Science teacher was on leave or something and our SPORTS Science teacher was filling in for her. Well... I'm sure most of you remember that we first learnt about reproduction in form 3... So anyways, we were on the topic of TWINS...
Pn N: Blah blah... Lelaki keluarkan SI-PER-MA, perempuan keluarkan U-VOOM.. blah blah.. Satu si-per-ma dan satu u-voom dapat satu zigot.. bagaimana pula dengan kembar seiras and tak seiras??
Students: *Quiet* (we knew the answer but we couldn't be bothered to answer her question coz we were too busy trying to control from laughing at the way she pronounce "sperma" and "ovum")

Students: *Eyes wide open, mouth agape*

Remember kids... identical twins are produced when two sperms fertilize one ovum, while non-identical ones are produced when one sperm fertilizes two ovums!
My gosh! It's DECEMBER!! The final month of the year~!! 2008 is just waiting to be ushered in with fireworks she's already expecting...
December is like... my 2nd favorite month of the year.. after May.. coz Christmas is in December!! Tek Jee said I'm totally gung ho about Christmas.. I agree.. A hole in the wallet but patched with loads of love, hugs and kisses, over a full but "empty" pocket anytime!
Put up a tree at Ernest's place in Seremban. Now the bottom of the tree is just waiting to be surrounded by tons of lovely presents from the heart and wrapped with the enthusiasm of a 6 year old~!
Speaking of enthusiasm.. I'm pretty psyched about the little post-Thanksgiving dinner we planned for tomorrow~! I've still yet to know how many mouths we're feeding coz Tek Jee and I need to estimate the amount of "raw materials" we should get...
Well, if the dinner plan is realised, and (hopefully) successful, I'm sure you'll read about it here soon~! Ahhhh~~ December... now, if only we had snow in Malaysia.. Haha!

Fashion Statement
My mum's ex-colleague's son got hitched last Saturday and my whole family were invited for the wedding luncheon at Legacy Hotel Malacca to grace the hall with our presence~! LOL! Anyways, instead of blogging about the wedding reception which is about the same as any other receptions, I decided to blog on fashion no-no's and fashion go-go's I saw at the reception..

Can't really see what those girls are wearing.. but those dresses were really really nice! Suited their bodies as well! Not surprised.. They're the groom's sisters..

2-Days with Jason
I literally wanted to strangle Jason Law! *ARGHHH* He not only made me wait like a bluddy fool and made me queue like a stoopid donkey, he also made me walk so much, I ended up sweating and smelling like a mad pig, and having muscle aches all over!!! *GRRR*

The only thing that kept me from literally burying him alive was the fact that he was a gentleman most of the time... But I have to admit.. I did have a LITTLE bit of fun... despite having a sore throat now coz I couldn't stop nagging at him during the whole 45 mins walk from KLCC to Times Square!

Yesterday (20th Nov) was Sabena and Chern Wuay's 22nd birthday! Ernest, Jee and a couple of others threw a surprise birthday party for them at Secret Recipe in Jusco Seremban 2. 9 people (excluding the birthday boy and girl, including me) joined in the fun!

It was a pretty ok dinner despite the whole bill calculation problem (my theory was right! Somehow the figures came out wrong.. damn) but well, unlike a lot of birthday parties I've been invited to, this one was rather.. quiet.. I guess? But it was pleasant and a birthday celebration nonetheless~!
