I told Alan that I wanna dress him up like Adam Levine of Maroon 5 (during Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards 2007) for MPO on the 13th of July..

But Alan doesn't wanna dress up nice and he claims to already look like Adam Levine.. *slaps forehead* Also said I don't know how to appreciate him lol.. sigh....

I enlisted as a volunteer for the 30-hour Famine camp which will be held at Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil on the 15th and 16th of September. A couple of my other friends are joining as participants but they will have to collect a minimum donation of RM100 to join the camp.
Anyways, I got the reply from the organisers today and here's what they wrote:
Dear Volunteers [sic],
Thank you for signing up as our 30-Hour Famine volunteers [sic]!
You have been selected as a Group Leader for this event.
Please book your calendar for the following training date and time:
Date : 21st July 2007 (Saturday), 10am to 5pm Venue : Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur Registration time : 9.00a.m. to 9:30a.m. Location : Stadium Putra main entrance
We will send you another e-mail notification to inform you of this training one week before the training camp, more information will be included in that mail on matters that need your attention.
Until then, build up your stamina for the camp and stay tune for more information! =)

I came into IMU not knowing anyone in Bpharm except Chuan Zhen whom I didn't exactly know either.. Just met him at Sedaya before that. The first people I came to know were of course, my housemates, Lay Chin, Chin Yee, Kee Lai and Menaka. On the first day of uni, registration day, I met a few others and I distinctly remember the Malaccans sitting in a circle, while the others were all spread out. During the first week alone, I made so many friends, I could hardly remember their names! LOL! I especially couldn't remember Cathy's name coz Chuan Zhen had introduced her to me as Sing Kiat and well, I'm terrible at Chinese names.. haha!
One of the first people I approached were Jennifer and Jivanti since both of their names came before mine. Jivan wasn't really happy with the short names I wanted to call her like Jiva and Jiv so I think I kinda got on her nerves then.. LOL! Jen, she caught my attention (not in a lesbianny way) coz she was just so bubbly and jovial! I just had to lean over Jivan to say hi! Soon I made friends with Cindy, May and a couple of other people. Ah, May was another one who caught my attention coz she couldn't stop laughing for some reason.. Haha!
During orientation, I became good friends with a couple of other people such as Shea Reen and Kai Shing. At that time, everyone was still getting to know each other and bonds slowly began to form between all of us as a class. It wasn't hard being such a small community. However, soon after, especially after our junior's orientation and subsequent class projects, we began to see everyone's true colours. Like water and oil, we were then unable to get along well anymore.
The class broke into groups, and there was not much mixing done there on hence. My group of which originally consisted of Cindy, Cathy, Jennifer, Magdalene, May and me, became larger, with the addition of Qi Yun and Simran, whereby we got close to them sometime after sem 4. But even though I have what you might call, a "permanent" group, I'm still close to a couple of other people such as those in Jivan's group, Chuan Zhen, Alan and so on and so forth.
Apart from meeting some of the greatest few in my class, I also got to meet Chia Ling's friends. Whenever I felt alone or down, I knew I could always count of them. After Chia Ling and gang left IMU Bukit Jalil, well, life got a lil more boring especially at night in Vista. They left Zakhir and Lydia there tho so I guess the boredom is still bareable! LOL! Because of IMU, I also got to meet people like Jason, Daniel and Nithiya and some other juniors whom I know are more than just juniors to me.. but are also people I call friends.
It's no doubt I've made friends with a wonderful bunch of wackos but while on this journey I take to my future, I've also met characters I wish I had never met. But hey, no road is all that smooth. Gotta have potholes and humps here and there.. That's the only way we can learn to grow. Thank you dear friends. If it weren't for your support and love, I think I would've gone mad at the beginning of BPharm. LOL!
Helped Dee Sidhu, her daughter and Annabel from AMANITA out with prostheses and bra fitting (by being the translator).. Some patients had one breast, some had one and a half, some had none.. It was pretty disturbing at first.. but I got used to looking at their breasts without feeling weird.. Learnt a lot tho.. Was great fun on the whole :)
B104, how is this as the front cover of our convo mag? Suppose to have honey dripping down into the angel's mouth (Alan's idea) but I didn't know how to draw lol! Anyways, just a suggestion.. And with that comes the suggested title for our convo mag.. "Tainted Saints" (like that of our orientation)
Suggestions welcomed! Need brainstorming!!
And Chi Fei and Alan said we should go to one place as a class, and take pics for the convo mag. Any suggestions to where you guys would like to go?
Btw, my left arm is all numb.. Got my HBV jab yesterday.. Another 2 courses to complete.. Sigh~!
Yesterday was one of the greatest days of my life~! I had fun, laughed more than I have laughed in the past few weeks, and I recieved great news! Ah yes... always a silver lining... And Jason had once again, proved to be a delightful companion! :)
I went up to KL today for a one-day trip. Took the 9AM bus and reached Puduraya station a lil after noon. Since there were some construction work going on, I had to walk awfully far to get to the LRT station.. Interchanged at Masjid Jamek to Putra line to get to KLCC to meet up with Jason..
Jason was already there waiting when I arrived and he had just finished filling up some contest entry forms, hoping that he'd be able to win an RM800 shopping voucher. We walked practically the whole KLCC looking for a place to eat and we finally settled for the 2nd floor food court. I noticed that it's not easy deciding on what to eat when with Jason.. LOL.. Although I was crazy hungry, I didn't finish my fish and chips.. no, not because I'm on a diet, nor because I didn't pay for it.. but coz it tasted like sea water! Yuck!
Planned to go up the sky bridge after eating but made a short detour to Kinokuniya. Jason wanted to buy a book called "Survival of the Sickest" (I think) while I needed a book on Sociology.. but because of the prices... we decided against it.. Maybe they'd be cheaper at MPH.. Anyways, wanted to go up the sky bridge but there were no more tickets!! The ushers said that people would line up at before 8.30AM to get the limited tickets.. *Sniff*.. was really dissapointed..
We walked around aimlessly then entered Isetan so I could buy a bottle of Euphoria Blossom.. Gave him the free sample of CKin2U which the salesperson gave me free with my purchase. Smelt better on him than it does on that strip of paper they'd spray perfume on. Continued walking aimlessly then I told Jason I wanted to see KLCC park in the daytime.. so we turned around and walked somemore.. Legs were aching but what the hell.. LOL..
The weather was friggin' hot outside the building.. Standing outside for a while, Jason suggested we walk to the convention center and check it out. There were two events going on at the same time..
Got loads of pretty paper bags, a few notebooks (btw, the guy gave Jason 3 books, but gave me 5!! Haha! What can I say? Lenglui mar! :P), a pen or two, a keychain, and loads of brochures! Jason told one of the exhibitors that we're from UPM, studying Chemical Engineering.. and when she asked us stuff, we knew nuts! LOL! Crapped up all nonsensical stories lol! And both of us couldn't stop laughing throughout the whole time we spent in the exhibition hall! Btw, we even got nametags.. which was really cool!
... and...
We thought we could get some free stuff from here too.. but everything in that expo was just for sale! Btw, we both spun this wheel of fortune thingy, and both of us got number 4.. The prize? A voucher worth RM100 for each of us! But they wouldn't give it to us unless we spent our time there.. nonsense! Then this one sales girl came to promote some stuff to me.. and when she told me about their slimming tea, I stepped on Jason's foot and then he thought I wanted to get away so he was like "Ok la! Let's go la!" (trying to save me la, konon.. haha) He sounded just like an impatient husband! LOL! The girl was like "Ok ok.. Five minutes, five minutes".. she sounded kinda scared.. haha! Poor girl..
Wanted to go to Starbucks for a drink after that but coz of the lack of time we had, since he had to meet his friends at IMU coz they had plans to go to Maison's, we left KLCC in a hurry.. Met Miss Wong in IMU and she asked me if B104 could organise a Health Awareness Campaign outside of IMU.. The marketing department, she said, would bear the cost.. So what do you guys think? Wanna give it a go? Oh.. and she also said we can ask for help from our juniors and also the medical students and give them training since we are the most senior.. LOL! Wow! Bangganya! :D
Oh btw.. I managed to see an openly lesbian couple in the LRT, and an openly gay couple in the bus on the way back to Segamat! LOL! Ah.. What a day..
Went out tonight with a couple of my high school friends for "lak bi" or "six smells drink" (direct translation). It's been a while since I last saw these people especially Patrick who is currently studying in Australia, and Ki Yang who is currently studying in India. Had lotsa fun.. almost didn't go but then contemplated and went since I needed something to blog about anyways.. lol..

And today Ki Yang, and I (together with Jason) went to Dato' to look Miss Shi up.. And OMG we got the shock of our lives!!! Miss Shi is like... ONE THIRD the size she used to be!! Friggin' slim k!! She looked damn hot for her age la! Miss Shi, you inspire me! :D *Clap Clap* Well done!!
Missed me? Hehe! Sorry I haven't been myself lately. Still not really myself but I'm doing better I guess.
Anyways, Thurs eve went out with Chuan Zhen. Supposed to watch Pirates III together but coz it was raining and I had to get back to Bandar Utama before it was too late, we decided to just hang around OUG and look for food.
Went to the night market but because it was wet out, most of the stalls weren't opened yet so only Chuan Zhen got to have a light entree of "Chao Tau Fu" before we went to OUG plaza for some real food. After dinner and a lil window shopping, we walked about 10-15 minutes to another departmental store in Pearl-something-or-rather-Hotel.
Zhen said there was a Jusco there so we decided to check it out. Well, to our dissapointment, there was no Jusco.. There was a D'hati (we pronounced it as DA-TEA though now I realise that it's suppose to be Di Hati.. LOL) there though.. Later we found out that it was Jusco, but they changed their name. How sad..
Later we went to Starbucks which was also in the hotel itself, and ordered two Java Chip fraps with whipped cream. The barista there was so busy checking me out, he forgot to put chocolate on top of the whipped cream! Haha! But Zhen said the guy was prolly checking HIM out! Hello Zhen! I'm so much more attractive than you k!! :P
Yesterday, went out the whole day with Jason. Met him at 9.45am at KL Sentral coz we both wanted to buy tickets to Segamat. Me for today, and him for Sunday. Yeah, he'll be staying at my place til' Tues. Anyways, we both went to Midvalley after that to watch Shrek 3 and also to do a lil shopping! Iunno bout you guys, but the both of us couldn't stop laughing and neither could the girl next to me. I think the three of us laughed the loudest! Shrek 3 was a real blast! Haha!
Then we went to the arcade to play some games. Jason made me dance that ParaPara game thingy! It was soooo embarrassing coz I kept missing!! But I've gotta admit.. Jason was pretty impressive! He actually formed his very own fan club in the process! LOL! Then we challenged each other to some shooting game, which he won... and to car racing.. which.. he won AGAIN!! ARGGGH!!!! Tak shiok betul!!! Then Cindy called me and while on the phone, Jason went to play his dancing game again!
After the arcade, we had lunch at Dominos. I DIDN'T WANT PIZZA FOR LUNCH!!! Sigh.. but hell, someone had to give in.. He actually wanted to eat at Pizza Hut but the line was so long, I said, forget it! And he actually tried to convince me to have the pizza taken away, then sit at the tables at the food court on the top floor to eat it!! *Faint* Talked more than we ate, then went SHOPPING!!
Unlike many of my guy friends, Jason was actually really patient while I window shopped for clothes! And when I went into shops which sold both male and female clothes, he'd try something out while I was doing the same in the next dressing room! And even when I shopped for makeup, he tried putting some of the samples on himself! LOL! He stopped when I told him it was kinda gay.. Haha! But he's real thoughtful.. he actually took Benefit's brochure back to let his sister have a look coz she's into cosmetics too..
And later that evening, although he promised to meet his parents at the LRT station at some appointed time, he decided to stay a lil longer with me coz I still have yet to get some books for my bro and a Father's Day card for my dad.. to which he kept reminding me.. LOL!
Anyways, it was real fun hanging out with Jason. Though sometime between all the laughter, we managed to hurt each other.. PHYSICALLY!! LOL! No wonder he has never had a girlfriend.. He smacks girls!!! Haha! I went around with an inflammed arm for about half an hour or so. Then again.. I started it.. LOL! But hey.. nothing can come out perfect right? :)
